    Experiments

Public experiments from the lab. Validated or killed — both are results.

Does the term 'vibe scientist' resonate with the people it describes?

This site is itself a probe. The hypothesis is that there is an under-named role — the person doing structured inquiry before metrics exist — and that a memorable label for it will spread faster than an academic one. We are running the naming experiment in public.

Superhuman's PMF engine (annotated case study)

In 2018, Rahul Vohra published a detailed account of how Superhuman used a single survey question — 'How would you feel if you could no longer use Superhuman?' — to quantify and then engineer product-market fit. The framework is a canonical example of turning an intuition ('users seem to love this') into a falsifiable, repeatable measurement.
